Hipster Invasion

14 February 2012

I've moved house. From the Heritage hotel (the landmark Farmer's building on the corner of Hobson and Wyndham). It is a destination site. You go there, rather than pass by - on foot at least, traffic barges through on the way to the Southern and Western motorways. Interesting people were thin on the ground.

There's a lid for every pot.

Would I encourage you to blog - or set up a Flickr account or any one of the thousands of other sharing tools that are available for free on the web?
Yes.

Brown's Island from the Waiheke ferry, returning to Auckland

But here's the thing.
The walk from home to the Auckland ferry building is about a kilometer.
The boat does the rest of the work.
But it's work worth doing.
Waiheke is my favourite daytrip from town.
