Mark and Louis's picture
Multi-award winning filmmakers, Mark and Louis, have worked together in the industry for over 15 years and have collaborated on three short films as a writer/ director team, with their latest offering, The Six Dollar Fifty Man, being long listed for the 2011 Academy Awards. Run, their second short film, was awarded an Honourable Mention at Festival de Cannes Shorts Competition in 2007 and First Place at Best of Shorts Film Festival, Marseille. Mark and Louis are now writing their first feature film loosely based on their personal experiences growing up in Wellington during the 1980’s.

AAAAH THE KAPITI COAST

After a brief holiday we are back into the throws of casting and prepping for the film. Last weekend we took the families up to the Kapiti Coast and took this photo, couldn't resist posting it. Really looking forward to shooting in our old home town. We go to meet the mayor Jenny Rowan a couple of weeks ago too.

Things just got a whole lot realer for us boys in the new year. The New Zealand Film Commission with support from the head honchos on their board have given
us the green light for our feature film production budget - so its all go. It means everything we have planned together for the past five years is coming to fruition! Choice!!
