community continued... Angel Appeal

Sometime the curatorial aspect of ONE takes a back seat to that other good sense of community where you just open the doors and make yourself available...
The Auckland City Mission run a fantastic campaign at this time of year and it is all about involving community. ONE hosted the launch of the event the other night, and played host to a number of artists works. The idea is to 'Become someone's Angel this Christmas'.

Around town you will see wings pasted up on walls. Each has been designed by a local artist. Take a picture- (like my terrible one attached) and post it up on facebook. http://www.facebook.com/CityMission?sk=app_296954653672820.

You can donate to the appeal in a number of ways- have a look on the site. www.aucklandcitymission.org.nz. It's a good idea to raise awareness and care about each other at this time of year... It's pretty tough for some.
